The Technology based health start up D-Nome has announced that the company has secured funds amounting 1.5 million US dollars in a seed funding round on Saturday, 21st January 2023. The seed funding round was led by Ankur Capital.

The seed Funding round for D-Nome also witness the participation of several other investors including the Asia first ever dorm room funding company Campus Fund.

The main motto of the recently established healthcare start up D-Nome is to regularise the diagnostics based on the molecular biology with the help of the device less technology using the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR).

About the company D-Nome

The technology based Synthetic Biology Company D-Nome was established in the month of July of 2021, by two scientists based in Hyderabad Divya Sriram and Sujoy Deb. the headquarters of the molecular Biology based diagnostic company is based in Hyderabad, Telengana.

There are three diagnostic methods for the infectious diseases. The time consuming Routine culture method which involves more man power, the Rapid antigen/ antibody  test which is less time consuming but provides less accurate results and the last one the Real Time polymerase Chain Reaction Test or the RT-PCR test which is highly accurate and expensive.

The company wishes to bridge the gaps between testing and enabling the custom made medicine which was not possible earlier due to the unavailability of the advanced diagnostic tools which are accurate. Thus, the company focuses to set a path for the future to use the healthcare facilities completely depended on Genomics and molecular biology which will be significantly social and economic.
