NBFC Avanse financial services bags INR 800 Cr from private equity firm Kedaara Capital. Avanse financial services is an education-related lending services portal. This investment will heavily boast the growth of this NBFC.

This fundraising marks another major shift. Warburg Pincus remains in its position and holds the majority stake in this NBFC.

Warburg Pincus has invested in over 260 companies. Apart from this, it has $85 Billion in AUM. Companies like boAt and Ola have also received funding from Warburg Pincus.

These fresh funds will be utilized for the expansion of its reach and to get in touch with more students. Furthermore, the NBFC plans to use the funds to establish its presence in other areas.

Set up in 2013, Avanse financial services is education focused loan provider to students, professionals and institutes in India. It works as an education monetary support to students. It also includes many other services like student loan financing, loan refinancing and skill development loan. In addition to this, this NBFC also offers services like institution loans and executive loans.
