The Apex Court launched android version 2.0 of its mobile application. Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud said that the app is available for Android users, while the Apple or iOS version will be available in a week

The Mobile application allows Nodal Officers and Law Officers of various union ministries to watch court proceedings in real time. This mobile application can be easily downloaded from the Google Play Store.

The Supreme Court has granted access to advocates and lawyers on records to watch court proceedings through mobile applications. It also showed judgments, orders and the status of the cases.

Chief Justice NV Ramana, during the pandemic, had granted access to a few journalists to report Supreme Court proceedings virtually without having to visit court premises. Now, just by logging in through this application, the Central Government officers can get exclusive real time access to watch the court proceedings.

CJI DY Chandrachud announces in open court. About an updated version of its mobile app for Android users. The main aim of this app is to enable law officers with real time access to cases they appear in. It also aims to allow government departments to check the pendency of their cases.

The court further mentioned Log in for the Attorney general (AG), SG, Additional Solicitor General of India (ASG), Ministry department and law officers to view all central government cases filed in Supreme Court.
