Twitter one of the biggest social media platform is yet to get a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
The inventor of email, Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai, an MIT PhD., has expressed his interest in becoming the CEO of Twitter in a tweet to Elon Musk.
This tweet came after Elon Musk’s poll results were revealed. Most of the users who participated in the poll want him to step down from the top post.
Credentials of Ayyadurai
An Indian-origin scholar highlighted his credentials in a tweet. By saying he have 4 degrees from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and have created seven successful high-tech software companies.
Dr. Ayyadurai invented email at the age 14. He shared details about the interoffice mail system developed by him in a tweet. This is one among his many innovations.
The tweet of Ayyadurai quickly gained attention, from the Twitter users and they started to support for his candidacy by responding to it.
Some users praised him as he told that who so ever wanting this role must be fully transparent and publicly post their qualification. Few users praised him for his achievements and few for his experience in the tech industry.
The results are awaited whether Ayyadurai’s tweet will lead to any further action. It has sparked a conversation among Twitter users about his potential as a leader of the popular social media platform.
Elon Musk clearly said that the position can only be taken by someone who really loves pain. MR Beast a popular Youtuber also approached Musk with the idea to give him Twitter’s Leadership.
