The Country’s Venture Capital Company Blume Venture has secured a sum of 250 million US dollars in its latest fund. The company wraps up the fourth fund of the investment which is devoted to Indian start-ups and businesses on Wednesday 7th December 2022.

The investment fund consisted of total of four rounds. The first round was closed in the month of October 2011 with the compilation of 20 million US dollars due to which the 60 India-based start-ups secured funds from the rounds led by the Blume Ventures, which includes the Turtlemint, Purplle, Exotel, Cashify, Grey Orange and many more.

Fund II was closed in the year 2015 at a sum of 60 Million US dollars and it closed the third Fund in the year 2018 at an amount of 102 million US dollars. The fund secured in these two investment rounds led the company to put money into 100 companies such as HealthifyMe, Unacademy, Koo and Spinny.

About the Blume IV Fund

The current fund was the largest among all four funds. The first wrap-up of the Fund-IV was declared by Blume Ventures in the month of November last year with the collection of 105 million US dollars.

The company’s current investment fund will be operated by a group of 15 associates and the group will be supervised by Arpit Agarwal, Karthik Reddy, Sajith Pai, Ashish Fafadia and Sanjay Nath. The company aims to fund 30-35 technology driven companies originated in India.

Concerning the Closure of the company’s latest investment round Blume IV, the partner at Blume Ventures Sanjay Nath said that the firm is thankful to all its supporters and  new believers who have funded the company’s latest investment round Blume IV.
