Hood, a social network platform raises INR 1.2 Crores at Shark Tank India Season 2. The investments came from two of the well-known entrepreneurs in the country. They are Peyush Bansal (Founder of Lenskart) and Aman Gupta (Co-founder and CMO of boAt). This round of investment from Peyush Bansal and Aman Gupta was aired on the 40th episode of Shark Tank India Season 2

The platform plans to use the funds in scaling the company. Furthermore, it will also utilize the investment in the area of technology and hiring. The founders of Hood will also look to enhance the content of the product.

Besides, Hood is also planning to launch its new features like direct messaging and ask me anything feature.

This round of investment is not the first round for Hood. Previously, the platform raised $3.2 Million from multiple unicorn founders. It includes investments from Kunal shah, Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Ashneer Grover, Gaurav Gupta and various other angel investors.
