Cloud Kitchen Startup, Terra Food Co. raises $1M from Angel Investors in a seed funding round.

A multi-brand food startup, Terra Food Co. raises $1M in a seed funding round. The round was led by the Faad Network. LV, IJP, Chennai Angels, and Agility Ventures were some of the major angel investors who invested in this startup.

Along with angel investors, eminent names from the food industry and restaurant spaces also participated in this seed funding round. They tied themselves with TFC as investors and advisors.

This Cloud kitchen startup Terra Food Co. raises $1M with a plan to expand its business and increase its portfolio of brands. The startup will also utilize the procured funds for building innovative food technology, product improvisation, and also for the expansion of the team.

With the view of offering a premium experience to its customers in metro and Tier 2 cities, TFC plans to launch a self-heating package.

“Terra Food Co has had a very hands-on approach since inception, from the launch of our first pick-and-go concept in 2017 which led to opening our dine-in restaurant serving world cuisine in 2019 and then starting a cloud kitchen focusing on affordable gourmet dining.” said, Sriram Nair, Founder, and CEO, Terra Food Co.

He also said, “From menu trials, market research, and constant experimenting with cuisine, we are growing exponentially in the market and soon will be a leader in the new-age food industry.”

The Cloud Kitchen startup was launched in 2017 by Sriram Nair. With its launch in 2017, TFC started the journey with seven multi-cuisine brands in Ahmedabad, including Terra Gourmet, Pick Up meals, Papadum,  Aho Punjab, Sushito, HIIT meals, Zeus Burger, etc.

Along with its recent expansion to Delhi-NCR and Jaipur, the startup also plans to increase its portfolio to 25 cuisines with the inclusion of regional and international cuisines.

Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Delhi, Gurgaon, and Faridabad are the locations where TFC currently operates, and is expanding to multiple locations in Pune, Chandigarh, Trichy, and Ludhiana next year.

With this rate of growth and expansion, Terra Food Co. is pushing itself to become the biggest gourmet food company in India with a presence in 25 cities and over 100 kitchens by 2025.
