The Use of Raised Funds

The invested amount of $1.7M will be used for various purposes in the company. The areas of focus will be faster delivery to bring efficiency, reduce carbon emissions, reduce costs and increase the availability of the service to difficult locations. In addition to this, the company aims to provide access to those places where there is no connectivity at all.

“This investment comes at a time when we are intensifying our efforts to expand our services in the Indian market. We are convinced that the funding will facilitate our team to open untouched channels, allowing us to bring drone delivery services to more customers in India and beyond”, said Ankit Kumar, Chief Executive Officer of Skye Air Mobility.

Undoubtedly, Drone delivery will be available in many locations near future. Currently, Skye Air Mobility operates in eight cities across the country. More than 16 cities are on the plan for expansion in 24 months.

The startup works with companies like Swiggy, Dunzo, Flipkart, Blue Dart, Redcliffe Labs and others. Skye Air Mobility has bases in Hyderabad and Gurgaon. It focuses on logistic solutions for healthcare, e-commerce and other industries.
