The Software-as-a-service or the SaaS start up for recruitment purpose GetWork has announced that it has gathered capital amounting 7 Cr Indian Rupees on Monday, 20th February 2023 in a pre-series A Funding Round.

About the Company GetWork’s latest Funding Found

The SaaS Start up GetWork’s pre-seeding Funding Round was led by the limited liability Company Samarthya Investment Advisor, Venture Capital Firm Artha Venture Fund and private incorporated financial Service providing company NVS Wealth Managers.

The pre-series A funding round also noticed the participation of some angel investors and marquee businessmen including the Co-founder of the Real-estate platform NoBroker, Saurabh Garg, the Co-Founder of the technology based HR , employee management company Betterplace,  Pravin Agarwal and the and the beauty platform Health and Glow and the DSP Group Family Office, Shuchi Kothari.

The Capital raised from the investment made by the investors participated in the funding round which is Rs.7Cr which is equal to 8.46 million US dollars.

The company wishes to utilise the freshly raised fund in order to extend the franchisee of the firm into new geographical regions also, the company focuses on hiring 2,500 college students and around 12,000 staff members for the company.

Regarding the fund raised in the pre-series A funding round by the company the Founder of the company said in his statement that every year the colleges and the training schools provide the country with 1.2 Cr fresh graduates and working personnel’s but there are no firms or the platform which provide the necessary counselling, tools and better career options for the fresher graduated from the colleges in the tier II and tier III cities.

Hence, the founder of the company further added saying that the company GetWork focuses on interpreting the above issue. Besides, he also said that the investors participated in the pre-series A funding round will assist to extend the operations of the firm across the country in the next 1.5 years.

The SaaS Start up GetWork was established in the year 2018 by the co-founded by Rahul Veerwal and Sumit Gupta. The headquarters of the company is based Gurugram, Haryana.

The company offers the colleges and freshly graduates to secure their careers in corporate world and start ups also in the small and medium enterprises.

The company secures fund of 2Cr from Artha Venture Funds and India Accelerator in Seed Funding Round in the year 2021.
