Live-Commerce Startup Shopr.tv raises $1.7 Million in a seed round backed by BEENEXT, Y-Combinator, Locus Ventures, Shiprocket, Goodwater Capital, and many more. Kunal Shah(CRED), Lalit Keshre(Groww), and Venky Karnam(Afore Capital) were some of the major angel investors who participated in this round.

Shopr.tv was launched in 2021 by its founders, Akhil Suhag, Mukul Anand, and Tushar Dhara. Shopr.tv is a live commerce platform that gives users a space to experience, discover, and purchase products and services. It engages sellers and buyers through different innovative ways like live drops, virtual pop-ups, and collection launches. Clearance sale is also one of the major ways of engagement.

Live commerce allows users to make any instant purchase through live video streaming. It is a gateway for sellers and buyers to deal with its customers by creating direct communication channels with users to make sales.

Shopr.tv will use these procured funds mainly for technology elevation. Along with technology, the startup will also use these funds for products and the team.

With over a hundred sellers on its platform, the startup offers a wide range of products. It includes products from fashion apparel, thrift finds, beauty products, and jewelry.
