MapmyIndia, a geotech startup and digital mapping software firm, has made a strategic investment in Indrones Solutions Private Limited. MapmyIndia has infused INR 7 Crores to acquire around 20% stakes in Indrones solutions private limited.

Indrones solutions private limited is an end-to-end drone solutions startup. It specializes in offering total packaged end-to-end solutions by drones. Its portfolio includes data acquisition data processing and also delivering intelligence.

MapmyIndia Background

Set up in 2015, MapmyIndia is a leading digital map based platform, products and solutions company. It works with more than 2000 enterprise customers across all verticals.

The drone solutions startup, Indrones plans to utilize the funds for scaling the business and also for the expansion of operational capacities. Furthermore, the startup will also use the funds to increase the flying experience. Additionally, it looks to acquire larger projects for clients in the future. Besides, Indrones solutions private limited plans to create futuristic automation drones. 

Certainly, the results of this deal will create an impact on both companies. Both companies will jointly offer drones and drone-based solutions for all use cases. The areas of offerings include mapping, surveying and real-time monitoring, etc.

MapmyIndia and Indrones solutions will target multiple verticals like infrastructure, utilities, land records and agriculture, etc. Additionally, the companies will also feature 3D and high-definition maps, tourism, metaverse and many others.

Furthermore, law and order will also be one of those verticals where this deal will work.
