The meat home delivery platform FreshToHome has announced that it has secured an amount of 104 million US dollars funds in the Series D funding round of the company on Wednesday, 22nd February 2023.

About the FreshToHome’s Series D Funding Round

The Series D Funding Round of the Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) meat delivery firm FreshToHome was led by the Amazon’s Initiative to fund the technology start ups based in India the Sambhav Venture Fund.

The Series D Funding Round also witnessed the participation of the several other investors, the company’s existing Investors and the Angel Investors including the Investcorp, the investment sector of the Government of Dubai the Investment Corporation of Dubai, the growth Capital providing firm Iron Pillar and the Bengaluru based private equity fund Ascent Capital.

 Whereas, the angel investors for the company include the Bengaluru based Venture Capital Company Mount Judi Ventures LLP, the United Arab Emirates based Multinational Company E20 Investment Ltd and the Private multinational corporation based in Saudi Arabia the Dallah Albaraka.

The company wishes to utilise the freshly raised capital to intensify the company’s mission on providing its customers with the products fish, seafood and the meat accessible and affordable for them with completely free from any chemical fertilisers, and antibiotic residues.

With respect to the fund raised the Chief executive Officer of the company FreshToHome said the company is express its gratitude towards the Sambhav Venture Capital for leading the funding round with their investment. The Chief Executive Officer also mentioned that the company is now classified as a ‘Proficorn’ with the profits made fro its operations.

He further added saying that that the company focuses on the profitability and the sustainable value creation as it aspires to provide its customers, farmers, fishers with the value they deserve.
