The technology driven biotechnology firm based in the country the Enzene Biosciences Ltd has secured an amount of 50 million US dollars which is equal to 408 Cr INR on Monday, 30th January 2023.

The investment for the company came from the infusion of the capital by the company’s parent organisation the pharmaceuticals company Alkem Laboratories. Besides this the biotech company also bagged funds invested by other companies including the Fidelity backed venture capital firm Eight Road Ventures and the healthcare and technology investing company F-prime Capital in the fresh equity funding round.

The company said in its statement that the freshly secured capital will be utilised in the improvising of the production abilities and also to set its roots in the Indian markets along with the market based in the United States.
