Tiger Global Management has led a Series-C round investment in Udesk. Udesk is a Beijing based customer service platform.
Founded back in 2013, UDesk is an intelligent enterprise customer service platform for customer service management. It aims to help companies configure their customer service providing features such as tools to analyse customer behaviour, notifying important problems, and creating tickets. The services can be delivered via various mediums such as WeChat, Weibo, mobile apps, online chats, phone call etc.
“We are optimistic about Udesk because it has connected many high-quality, well-known customers by offering a comprehensive range of quality products. Meanwhile, the company’s operational efficiency is very high, sales efficiency and customer renewal fees are steadily increasing,” said Wang Pengfei, Managing Director of Tiger Global China, in a statement published in Udesk’s official WeChat account.
Udesk helps quickly build low cost customer service platform for its customers and has over 70,000 registered enterprise users including Starbucks, Haidilao, 58 City, and Procter & Gamble, according to it official website as of Sept. 2017. It helps reduce operational cost, improve enterprise work efficiency and helps build robust customer service platforms.
“We hope that Udesk will continue to maintain rapid and healthy development and continue to lead the Chinese SaaS customer service industry,” Wang said in the same statement.
In 2016, Udesk had raised RMB100 million (US$14.5 million) in series B financing round from Legend capital and DCM China.
In addition, the company had also raised RMB30 million (US$4.4 million) series A+ round led by Legend Capital in 2015 and US$3 million in series A fundraising round from DCM China investor.
The list of its investors include that of DCM Ventures, Legend Capital, King Capital Investment and AA Investment.
