Road-trip planning startup “ScoutMyTrip” raises undisclosed seed funding from Z Nation Lab

ScoutMyTrip is an online road-trip planning startup, has raised an undisclosed amount in seed funding from Z Nation Lab; a Mumbai-based co-working space provider and startup accelerator.

The funds raised will be used to to expand the team and develop sales and marketing strategies.

The company was founded by Deepak Ananth and Vineet Rajan in March 2016. It has developed a platform wherein users can discover and plan a road trip. It enables travellers to discover en route travel necessities such as petrol bunks, restrooms, additional tourist activities, eating joints, book accommodation, and navigate.

It Claims to have over 10,000 points of interest, gas stations, toilets etc. along the way, multiple routes, hotels.

As of Feb 2017, ScoutMyTrip is reported to have more than 2,000 users and over 600 trips planned via the platform.
