Orahi gets funding of Rs. 3.5 crore from Indian Angel Network

The car pooling app, Orahi has received Rs. 3.5 crore funding from Indian Angel Network. The company presently operates in Delhi, Noida and Gurgaon.
Sameer Khanna, founder of Orahi said, “India has 30 million cars on the road and we are going to target 10% of these cars to enable carpooling in the next two years.”
IAN lead investor, Vinish Kathuria said, “In line with the government’s odd even scheme and in encouraging people to contribute to being environment friendly, Orahi is well poised with its safe to use, convenient and cost-effective platform.”
Orahi came into being two and a half years ago and claims to save fuel costs by 100%.
