The Direct To Consumer (D2C) meat, seafood company has set its foot in plant derived meat market by launching a new brand “UnCrave” , making it their first portfolio brand.

The brand consists of plant based protein sources in the form of vegetarian chicken &mutton seekh kebab which will be available in all the metropolitan cities like Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, NCR, Kolkata at first  on  both online and offline platforms.

The plant derived products available are seekh kebabs as, Chik~n & Mutt~n. Each pack containing 4peices (pcs) which have been priced Rs. 349 onwards, the company also offers single piece (pc) pack as an introductory offer at Rs. 99.

The products are ready to consume and the Research team has undergone 20 months of Research &Development(R&D) to make a plant based meat derivative which, is free from any sort of preservative and umami  flavour enhancer, monosodium glutamate(msg) which leads to obesity and other metabolic diseases. Rather, the company focuses on quality and nutritional aspects of the product.

The plant based Seekh kebabs have a shelf life of 12-14 days with 8 minutes of time required to cook the item.

Due to the change in the lifestyle, eating habits of people are also changing. They are switching to Veganism to maintain a healthy lifestyle and also to support cruelty free program.

The plant based meat analogues serves as a good alternative for protein supplement which human body require, without providing any additional calories in terms of fats.

Licious is a home grown brand, established in 2015 by, Abhay Hanjura & Vivek Gupta. The company succeeded in generating a revenue of 800 Cr in the FY 2021-2022 also, the company aims 20% of their 3 million repeat customers with which the company targets market’s No. 1 position, with the release of the new brand of plant based meat product, UnCrave.

The start-up brand turned into unicorn after raising $52 million by IIFL Late Stage Tech Fund & Avendus in October last year, and raised $150 million by Singapore based Amansa Capital in March this year.
