MyraMed is a mobile app for ordering medicines, baby care, female hygiene and oral care products

Bengaluru-based MyraMed was founded in 2015 by Anirudh Coontoor,Co-Founder at MetaRain, ex-Software Engineer at Nokia and Faizan Aziz, Co-Founder at MetaRain, ex-CTO at Dexetra.

It has raised an undisclosed amount in Series A funding round from Times Internet, existing investor Matrix Partners India and other investors – Pranay Chulet, Prashant Malik, Vamsi Duvvuri & Pankaj Gupta.

Also raised an undisclosed amount of Series A round of funding from Matrix Partners in Feb 2016.

MyraMed assures delivery of medicines at the user’s doorstep  in one hour and gives a flat 20% off on all medicines. Customers can upload photos of prescription through the app or place the order on phone/SMS. It has its own warehouse and is available in limited areas of Bangalore.

It delivers medicines in HRBR layout, Ulsoor, Cooke Town, Cox Town, Jaymahal and Benson Town. The company has six delivery boys and 12 employees , achieves 200 deliveries a day.

The company has also developed an ERP called Prisim which helps in order tracking and in deleivery of medicines by using algorithm which analyzes and tells which order must be dispatched soon and  to which delivery boy it should be assigned.
