Lumiere Organic wins hearts of its customers, gets backed by 20 customers or should we say investors?

The Bengaluru-based seed-to-table organic produce firm Lumiere Organic Venture has raised an undisclosed amounts of fund from 20 investors.
The company said it will be using funds to buy more space for organic farming, market andto open up more stores.
Manjunath Panickaparambil, CEO of Lumiere said, ““Thanks to this funding, in addition to our 8500 Sq ft Marathahalli store and restaurant, Lumiere opened its second store outlet in Whitefield recently and our estore started catering to more parts of Bangalore with 6 days delivery a week. We are planning to open 7 more stores in Bangalore & Cochin and also start online delivery to entire Bangalore and also in talks with more angel investors.”
Lumiere was founded back in 2002 in Kochi by Manjunath and Ambrose Kooliath. It has a restaurant chain also where only its organic produce is used. Besides, the company has also partnered with other farms to maintain its stock requirements.
Later Lumiere shifted its headquarters to Bengaluru to scale up. presently it has two offline stores in the city and one online store. By the end of this year, it plans to launch 5 more stores.
