After the huge success Reliance Jio encountered as soon as it entered the Indian market by offering free calls and unlimited mobile data, the company is all set to launch its own broadband service. The broadband service will be named Jio GigaFiber. And how can one expect it to be costly? The new service is super cheap but not free of cost.

The company’s official website has posted various broadband internet plans that it is offering. The offers start at a minimum price of Rs 500. The tariff plans will be launched in the next few months. The broadband plans belong to three categories-Gold, silver and platinum depending upon the price. The internet speed and data usage depends upon the type of plan subscribed by the customer.

The service is currently available in Mumbai and Pune but will soon be expanded to other cities as well. Also, according to the website, all the Jio Fibre broadband plans will provide free access to the Jio Premium Apps which include JioTv, JioBeats and JioCinema. As part of the welcome offer, Reliance Jio will provide free broadband service to its users for a total of 3 months! Since the broadband speed runs on fiber we can expect it to be more consistent unlike the Jio 4G speed.
