Israeli company, Cronus Cyber has raised $3.5M in Series A funding round from Existing investor


Cronus Cyber Technologies is a global provider of predictive Attack Path Scenario (APS) solutions.

Cronus Cyber designs and develops penetration testing software  used to identify and eliminate network vulnerabilities within enterprises.

It has fund-raised $3.5M in Series A funding round from its existing investor JANVEST Capital Partners.

The company has developed an algorithm that mimics a human hacker and allows organizations to plan ahead for the attacks. it makes hundreds of thousands of penetration tests in a short time and allows organizations to prepare for and protect themselves in advance against any infiltration.

The company was established in 2014 by Doron Sivan, the owners of information security veteran MadSec, currently serves as CEO and  Matan Azogui  the company’s chief technology officer.

Cronus technology is installed in a large number of financial institutions, such as the International Bank. Cronus took part in the bank’s cyber greenhouse, followed by the Bank decided to purchase the solution in order to provide solutions to current and penetration testing, information security surveys.

Solution can protect every system connected to a given IP address like computers, servers, network-connected controllers,  control systems, cameras and even time stamp machines.

When an attack is confirmed, the software automatically alerts all relevant security systems to contain and prevent further breach, simultaneously updating employees of compromised enterprise.

The company has earlier raised $2.2M seed funding in august 2015 by JANVEST Capital Partners
