IBM to acquire Bengaluru-based cloud recovery firm Sanovi Technologies


IBM signed a definitive agreement to acquire Bengaluru-based Sanovi Technologies

Sanovi Technologies is a Bengaluru-based company which provides hybrid cloud recovery, cloud migration and business continuity software for enterprise data centres and cloud infrastucture.

IBM has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Bengaluru-based disaster recovery solution provider Sanovi Technologies. However, the amount at which IBM acquired Sanovi remains undisclosed.

Sanovi was founded in 2003 which operates in the United States, the Middle East and Asia.

IBM plans to integrate the Sanovi capabilities into the IBM Global Technology Services unit.With Sanovi, IBM will further improve its Software Defined Resiliency strategy and delivery of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery services for clients undergoing digital and hybrid Cloud transformation.
