The future of technology lies with artificial intelligence and cloud computing. With that in mind, Google has today launched a new project called AI Experiements which introduces a platform that will help users appreciate the amazing ways in which neural networks work.

The website of AI Experiments offers users and tech enthusiasts a direct insight into how machine learning works. Users can get access to various experimental tools and services which utilize machine learning in fun ways. The open-source codes are also available for developers to play with.

The most noteworthy tools currently being showcased on AI Experiemts are Giorgio Cam and Thing Translate. Giorgia Cam is a tool that allows users to place any object in front of their smartphone or PC camera and recognize what it is. But that’s not all, the service tells the user what the object is in the form of a rhyme or song.

Thing Translate, on the other hand, is a tool that allows you to show an object to your camera, recognize it and translate the word into a host of other languages. Both these tools use the Google Cloud APIs and a form of neural networks-based artificial intelligence.

For now, you can head over to the website to enjoy all the fun and even learn how it’s done.
