DailyObjects gets $1.3 million funding from Unilazer Ventures

DailyObjects, the Delhi-based personal accessory maker has raised $1.3 million from Unilazer Ventures. The other investors are Phanindra Sama (co-founder, redbus) and Peyush Bansal (CEO, Lenskart).
Pankaj Garg founded DailyObjects in 2012 as an online store that offers users with a range of Tablet and Smartphone accessories. It offers over 5,000 designer phone cases and laptop sleeves.
Garg said, “This funding will allow us to launch many new lines of personal products that combine functionality with incredible style; allowing Indian consumers’ unique means of self-expression that no other brand provides.”
He also added through this funding, the company might be able to enter brick and mortar sales both independently and through tie-ups with retailers.
The company is also looking to expand its team as well as infrastructure. It is currently the leader in the smartphone market and is predicted that it will be worth Rs. 1,500 by 2020.
DailyObjects has 62 artists from 25 countries and is adding more artists. Every month it sells around 15,000 cases across the country doing a business of Rs. 2.5 crore.
