B2B marketplace for leather products “ShoeKonnect” raises undisclosed angel funding from IAN

ShoeKonnect is a mobile listing and communication platform for B2B shoe industry

ShoeKonnect is a B2B commerce mobile application designed specifically to cater to the needs of the footwear industry. It has raised an undisclosed amount of angel funding from Indian Angel Network.

The round of investment was led by Sahil Kejriwal on behalf of IAN. He will be joining the company board to monitor the team.

ShoeKonnect is a product of BizCrum Pvt. Ltda family of connection centric B2B apps that is created to facilitate trade amongst business men. ShoeKonnect allows businesses to search, list products, find sellers, chat privately, etc.

The newly raised funds will be used to expand the company’s business operations, enhance technology and product development and to bolster their marketing initiatives. ShoeKonnect also plans to launch the iOS version of the app soon.

ShoeKonnect comprises of 10 members, claims to connect around 5,000 footwear businesses including manufacturers, suppliers, traders and retailers from India and neighbouring countries. It is based out of Agra, has achieved 95% stickiness from buyers.
