Testfunda.com acquired by Thinkcell, Diversifies domain to cover various entrance examinations

The former Gateforum Educational Services, now Thinkcell Learning Solutions has acquired the e-learning company Testfunda.com.
Mohit Goel, CEO of Thinkcell said, “The acquisition of Testfunda.com is a strategic move on our part. TestFunda’s robust technology platform will now be used to create synergies for our existing divisions in the online space and provide scale. At the same time, it enables us to diversify our domain to include MBA entrance, bank entrance and UPSC.”
Testfunda.com offers online test preparation for bank and MBA exams. Presently it has 6 lakh users registered and is partnered with 250 institutions. Founded in 2008 by IIT-IIM alumni, it offers preparation material for XAT, CAT, CMAT, IIFT, SNAP and NMAT.
Earlier this month, Thinkcell had also acquired YUKTI for starting its 8-12 science division with a focus on 10th and 12th board exams and medical entrance exams like MHT-CET, AIPMT and JEE. Further Thinkcell has also partnered with KAPLAN to prepare students for GRE, GMAT, ACT, SAT, NBDE, USMLE, TOEFL, NCLEX and IELTS.
Goel added, “Thinkcell is investing Rs. 30 crores over the next two years for this diversification including acquisitions and growing the business.”
with Testfunda, the company has rstructured itself into 4 verticals – Logiquest for education abroad (GRE, GMAT etc.), Testfunda.com for MBA and Bank preparation, YUKTI for high school science and Gateforum for GATE preparation.
