Yatra acquires Travel-Logs, a startup that organizes private tours and city walks

Yatra.com, the Gurgaon-based travel portal has acquired Travel-Logs, a Mumbai-based private tours and city walks organizer startup. The specifics on detail aren’t out yet.
As per the deal, founder of Travel-Logs, Dhiresh Sharma will be joining Yatra as the head of ‘Metro X’ – a new segment of the company to be launched in Mumbai the coming month.
Travel-Logs allows tourists to explore the culture, heritage, architecture and art of a city via its tours. It also organizes special corporate and institutional tours.
Dhiresh said, “People who live in the city should be able to see value in the city and this is what drives us. We try to create value out of the age-old heritage and culture, which not many people know.”
Reportedly, the startup conducted a south Mumbai tour for Asia Business Council.
Sharat Dhall, President of Yatra said, “It is about experiencing your own city and the idea is to curate all the experience in a metro – whether it is cycling tours, walking tours, food trail, etc – which is available within the city.”
