Reynaldo Dasga, who is a Philippine councilor, was once celebrating the New Year's Eve along with his family and relatives. While assembling in order to take a photograph to salute the occasion, his murderer stepped inside the frame of the picture, just a second before launching the bullet which would end the life of Dasga.The politician was somewhat responsible for the assassin getting arrested in terms of auto theft. His associate could also be viewed on the top right-hand side of the photo, right behind Dasga's wife, mother-in-law, and daughter.
During a trip in 1993, to Sudan, photographer Kevin Carter was composing to take a photograph of a starving toddler who was attempting to go to a feeding house when a vulture landed nearby. Carter had reported after he took the picture because it was his job title, and living. He was advised to not to touch the kid to avoid the worry of transferring a disease.This photograph was sold to the New York Times and had been conveyed in various newspapers around the world. Hundreds of people contacted the newspaper to know the girl's fate. The paper had reported that it wasn't known if she was able to reach the feeding house. The photograph received the Pulitzer Prize for a Feature Photography, in April 1994. However, three months after he won the Pulitzer Prize, Kevin committed suicide.
This was Chris McCandless' last self-taken picture after traveling into the wilderness of Alaska. Shortly after he took this photo, he was found to be dead in a stranded camper. He starved to death, a skeletal look and crazed smile on his face.
A French woman, Blanche Monnier was kept as a hostage for about 24 years, locked in an enclosed room where she had been forced to live with her own waste. She was saved in 1901 when the police received a letter with details how a lady had been kept a hostage in France. They proceeded to the house and detected a malnourished Blanche Monnier lying inside a puddle of excrement and waste on the couch in a room. The 49-year old, 55-pound Blanche was covering herself with the sheets, petrified. She had not viewed sunlight for 24 years.
Two friends, both 22-year old, Brenden Vega and Saylor Guilliams, went for hiking together during March in Santa Barbara, California. The path they grasped wasn't very well-lighted, and the two fell and injured themselves again and again. When hours of weeping for help was validated to be unsuccessful, Vega abandoned his friend to go for seeking assistance. Along the path, Vega tripped off a rocky ridge and descended to his death. The next day one more set of hikers were there in that area capturing photos of the adventure. Unperceived to them, Guilliams could be viewed in the background of their photos, laying with her face down in the mud, not able to progress with a broken arm, both ankles broken, and many other composite fractures.
This photo has been taken by Gary Stemper, of his wife swimming in the foreground. The two divers captured were Tina Watson and other is a rescue diver. Tina and Gabe, her husband, chose Australia as the destination for the honeymoon in order to do diving at the Great Barrier Reef. The story of the husband is that the strong currents pulled Tina under, and consequent to swimming to her and after the distress signal she tapped his mask loose. Till the time he retrieved she was sinking so quickly. He arose for help and afterward stated that an ear issue had prevented him from going deeper to recover her and that he wasn't well trained for a condition like that. Contradictory statements given by Watson had led to an investigation, but the Queensland prosecutors stated that he had turned off the air regulator and bear-hugged her till the time she lost senses, after which he turned it on and resurfaced.
The little one in the picture is James Bulger who was being taken away, by one of two 10-year-old boys who kidnapped him and later murder him, from his mother At the time of trial, it was confirmed that at the location, one of those boys threw a blue Humbrol designing paint, that they had burglarized earlier, in Bulger's left eye. Both of them stomped on and kicked him, and then threw stones and bricks at him. The case's pathologist, Dr. Alan Williams, declared that Bulger suffered many injuries which couldn't be isolated as the deadly blow.

This was the last picture of Travis Alexander had taken just moments before he was murdered by Jodi Arias. She had come over some time back, they fooled around and ultimately got inside the shower where she was taking photos of him. On 9th June 2008, the body of Alexander was found by his friends inside the shower at his home, which was in Mesa, Arizona. He had sustained 27 to 29 stab blows; his throat was torn and suffered a deadly gunshot wound on his head.
The charismatic leader Jim Jones who led a religious cult had an astounding 918 people took their own lives. It was the biggest mass suicide. Prior to 11th September 2001, this act was the single biggest loss of American lives due to a deliberate act, and few witnesses had characterized this event as a mass murder rather than a suicide. A big vat of the drink, which was Flavor-aid, was mixed up comprising of Valium and Cyanide and the members consumed it via syringes, and by splashing it in children's mouth.
On a Saturday afternoon, at 1:30, a 17-year-old high school deadbeat had posted a post on his Facebook page that there was a party at his home that night. He decided the jollities would be a greater fun if his parents weren't present there. Later the afternoon, Tyler pounced at his parents with a hammer, beating his parents, Blake and Mary-Jo Hadley, till they were dead. He kept the bodies in a bedroom and used books, files, and towels to cover the bodies and locked the door. Around 40 and 60 people came for the party in the night.
26th March 1997, the grizzly detected that 39 members of Gate cult of the Heaven committed a mass suicide, thinking their souls will be transported, following the "Hale-Bopp comet", to a spaceship. They all were wearing the same clothes, including a common model of athletic shoes from Nike. This group was directed by a man who claimed himself to be 'Do' and thought he was a disciple of Jesus Christ. The cult's founder, Marshall Applewhite, told the followers that the world was going to be 'wiped clean' by the alien institutor and they should leave the earth.
Commonly known as The Candy Man, Dean Coril, was one of the most inventive serial killers in all American history. With the help of David Brooks and Elmer Henley, his two accomplices, Coril David Brooks and Elmer Henley, tortured, raped and murdered more than 28 boys between the years of 1970 and 1973. Coril was killed by Henley, who is presently serving a 600-year prison sentence for his part in the murders. In 2012, a filmmaker was accorded permission to review the personal belongings, which were dumped in an old school bus. Amid them, he discovered a Polaroid of a young boy, handcuffed, lying on the floor and Coril's toolbox, which he used to torture tools in the foreground. The image was made more chilling with the fact that nobody knew who the kid was, and that it may mean that there were, even more, victims of which the police were unknown about.
