The Apple Beta Software Program is open to anyone with a valid Apple ID who accepts the Apple Beta Software Program Agreement during the sign-up process. iPhone will receive software updates to enable 5G support for public beta testing starting next week. The update will let iPhone users with Airtel 5G and Jio 5G services be able to use 5G services next week.

The Apple company has confirmed that iOS 16.2 will bring 5G to iPhones in India. WhatsApp has three new features. Meta has announced that creators will be able to sell NFTs on Instagram. The Apple Beta Software Program, iPhone users can simply enroll in their device to access the latest public betas, The Apple company had earlier said it would release software updates for 5G support in India by December. But with the beta program, users will be able to use 5G on iPhones much before that.

5G services on iPhone

5G enabled iPhone who download the iOS 16 Beta software update will enable 5G support on iPhone12, iPhone13, iPhone14 series and iPhone SE (3rd Generation) models and is enrolled in the iOS 16 Beta software program. The Beta software program will enable users to experience iOS 16 with 5G support and the latest features before it is rolled out to the masses. Apple has been testing 5G services with network in India for a while. With the beta testing users will be able to give feedback to Apple on the quality and usability of its 5G services. Apple has not officially announced the date for the wider rollout.

Apple starting 5G iPhones

The beta software program also lets users try out pre-released software and experience the latest features before it becomes more widely available. Delegates from the Cupertino-based tech giant, Apple, are expected to meet members of C-DoT, the research branch of the Department of Telecommunications to inform them about the public beta rollout.
