Marketplace for online courses “Zeroinfy” has raised undisclosed seed funding from Calcutta Angels

Zeroinfy is an Online Platform for Exam Preparation, with over 200+ HD quality video courses, 25+ best Professors, currently covering exams like CA, CS, CMA, UPSC, IIT-JEE.

Zeroinfy is  a kolkata-based education start-up which has raised an undisclosed amount from Calcutta Angels Network.

Zeroinfy was founded in July 2015 by chartered accountants Aditya Bajaj, Abhishek Bajaj and Rohit Bajaj.

Founder Aditya Bajaj said, "This is our first fund-raising. Zeroinfy will use the funds to expand its team, enhance technology and pursue customer and faculty acquisitions as we want to adhere to the quality standards"

Calcutta Angels Network (CAN) has picked a 10% stake in Ed-Tech startup Zeroinfy.

"Calcutta Angels Network's objective is to give shape to worthy ideas and Zeroinfy is one such start-up. This year our focus will be to boost local start-ups and this investment is a result of that endeavour," said Siddharth Pansari, president of Calcutta Angels Network. 

Users can browse for courses, watch demos of top experts, ask doubts and discuss it with peers. Also allows  users to buy some chapters from a particular course.Teachers can upload video lessons, set a price and publish the course.

The start-up prepares students for professional courses and various competitive exams, including IIT/JEE, CA,UPSC etc., with over 200 video courses and more than 50 experienced professors from across the country.It also encourages students to share their personal notes with other students.
