Comprehensive and hassle free logistic service is now a tap away with the PickJi app developed by Kolkata based Indus Net Technologies known for their Incredible India and MyGuv app. Developed for another city based start-up , Auspice Transitos. Sending parcels now can be easy and done using just one’s smart phone.
Expecting launch by mid-November PickJi can be downloaded both on Android and iOS for delivering one’s courier to any part of the city. The app also comes with a pay on delivery feature as well as corporate booking options. A pick up for the delivery can be requested from the app anywhere.
“The GPS enabled service will make the status of the shipment traceable for all the users. Once delivered, the sender will get an instant delivery confirmation on the registered mobile number”, said Abhishek Rungta, Founder & CEO, Indus Net Technologies.
The app claims to come up with many firsts. “Customized features like, tapping on the ‘pick now’ option to pick the delivery, get the freight picked from the doorstep or at any preferred pick-up point with the details of the service boy on the customer’s fingertips and receiving instant confirmation messages on the freight’s pick-up or delivery are fist-of-its-kind facilities for the users,” said Baibhav Agarwal, Founder, Auspice Transitos.
Not just huge consignments PickJi can be used for any kind of deliveries be it small or big. Come 2016, PickJi would be rolling out in other cities too.
