Justdial gets $18 million investment from Nalanda Capital

The local search service provider, justdial has just bagged an investment of $18 million from private equity firm Nalanda Capital.this investment has increased Nalanda’s stake in the company to 7.58% from 2%.
VSS Mani founded Justdial in 1994 and the official website was came into the scene in 2007.the firm provides both B2B and B2C listings of the businesses across the whole country.
Sequoia Capital and SAIF Partners are another two major share stakeholders in the company. the other investors include SAP Ventures, EGCS and Tiger Global.
SAIF Partners sold 2.4% stake in the company in 2014 and earned more return than it had invested.
Other players have also come up in the segment including HouseJoy, DoorMint, UrbanClap and LocalOye.
