Hike Messenger gets backed by WordPress, Quora and others

The instant messaging service, Hike Messenger has raised funds from Silicon Valley founders including Aditya Agarwal (VP, Dropbox), Matt Mullenweg (co-founder, WordPress), Ruchi Sanghvi (Former VP, Dropbox) and Adam D’Angelo (Founder, Quora). However, the amount raised has not been disclosed.
The investors have invested in their personal capacity and will also be the advisors to the company.
Hike was launched back in December 2012 and now has over 70 million users. The company has tied up with Zynga, Amazon, Unilever and PepsiCo.
Till date the company has raised $86 million from Bharti Softbank and Tiger Global.
