Fisdom bags Rs. 3.4 crore funding

Fisdom, the personal finance startup has raised Rs. 3.4 crore from a bunch of angel investors including Commonfloor’s Sumit Jain and co-founders of Taxi For Sure – Aprameya Radhakrishna and Raghunandan G. The startup has on-board Subramanya S.V – the former MD of Bessemer Venture.
The company said the funding will be used for building new products and team expansion. It presently has a dozen employees. Fisdom is a personal finance company and provides advisory and transaction platform for the same. It aims to target 5,000 customers this year.
Subramanya said, "The idea is to provide wealth management to those earning between Rs 5 lakh to Rs 50 lakh, who don't have access to professional advice on where to investment their money.”
The company makes revenue from commission by financial services companies as well as mutual funds.
Other investors who participated in the round include Rob Chandra, Vishal Purohit of Wooqer, Rajeev Chitrabhanu of JM Financial and Gaurav Gupta of Macquarie.
