Ishan Gupta, founder of EduKart will join Paytm as vice president business

This company which was founded by Ishan Gupta and  Mayank Gupta in 2011 gets acqui-hired by Online payment and shopping site Paytm. Paytm is India’s largest mobile commerce platform.

Paytm started by offering mobile recharge and utility bill payments and today it offers a full marketplace to consumers on its mobile apps.In a short span of time Paytm has scaled to more than 60 Million orders per month.

EduKart is purchased by Paytm for its staff’s skills and expertise, the 50-member team of EduKart has joined Paytm in various roles. While Ishan Gupta has joined the company as its vice-president of business.

Ishan Gupta said,…
