Ecommerce startup raises $4 million.

Pune-based e-commerce startup has raised $4 million in pre-Series A funding.

Investors include Brand Capital, a unit of media conglomerate Bennett Coleman & Co Ltd., Siddhivinayak Skyscrapers, Dinesh Challa and a corporation whose name was not disclosed.

The funds will be used to launch in other countries, and marketing the brand in various publications owned by BCCL, one of India’s largest media companies and the publisher of the Times of India among others.

Truelytics eComm Pvt Ltd, which runs, said in a statement that it is in talks with venture capital firms for the next round of funding, expected to close this year. The company was founded by Raj Iyer, chairman and managing director, and Kundan Dhake in May 2013.

The startup is an e-commerce marketplace that connects buyers with creators of bespoke collections. It has more than 250,000 products on its portal.
