Doctor Insta, a health-tech startup has raised $1M seed funding from RoundGlass Partners

Doctor Insta helps you to consult best doctors on your computer, tablet or phone for free medical help instantly from your Home or Office.

Doctor Insta provides a tele-medicine platform enabling patients to search and book for health consultations through the web platform or the mobile app.

It has raised $1M Seed funding from RoundGlass Partners, a US-based venture capital firm.

Doctor Insta co-founder and CEO Amit Munjal said, the funds will be used for marketing two new concepts—Health ATM and Insta Wall. “We are planning to spend around Rs 20 crore on these two concepts over the next 18 months.”

Health ATM's  will be placed in shopping malls and corporate parks which will allow people to get a basic checkup done, like sugar or blood pressure.

Insta Wall will help in remote healthcare consultation. This is mainly targeted in rural areas where people can use their tablets or mobile for consultation session with experts at Doctor Insta. The consultaton fee for rural people are around Rs. 100 - 150 and Rs. 400 - 500  for the people in cities.

Doctor Insta offers app-based voice and video medical consultations. The app allows patients to book an appointment in specialty areas, including physician, pediatrics, psychology, nutrition, gynecology, sexology, among others.

Doctor Insta claims to have around 1K consultations per day and hopes to have 250 doctors to consult five million consumers by the year end.
