Smallcase is a stock investment platform that brings a basket of stock options to help customers build a suitable investment portfolio

Smallcase has raised $14 million in fresh funds led by the DSP Group in a Series B round. This is approximately Rs.99 crore in funds. Besides individual investors such as Kunal Shah, Utpal Seth and Akram Ventures, the existing investors including Sequoia Capital India, WEH Ventures, Blume Ventures, Beenext also participated in the round.

The company aims to utilize the funds to introduce new products, expand its products and technology team, enhance its infrastructure stack and add more partners to the platform.

Smallcase, which a Bengaluru based investment startup was founded in July 2015 and launched in 2016 has a team of 100+ now and has transacted over Rs.5000 crore till date. It has partnered with top brokerage houses in India. It was founded by three IIT graduates Vasanth Kamath, Anugrah Shrivastava, and Rohan Gupta.

Some of their brokerage partners include 5paisa, Edelweiss, AxisDirect, Alice Blue, HDFC Securities, Zerodha, Kotak Securities, IIFL Securities, Trustline, etc.
