With the startup ecosystem getting better by day in Uttar Pradesh, UP based startups are rising to the competition to fetch funds and may soon be at par with Delhi & Bengaluru.

EduGorilla is a Lucknow based education technology startup that focuses on preparing students in competitive exams.

The startup has raised about Rs. 5.3 crore which is $726,000 from SEBI and other investors. Cat  1 Angel Fund , Auxano Entrepreneur Fund along with a group of angels led by Venture Garage – SucSEED Venture Partners, Pune Angels, Hem Angels, and VG Angels.

It runs various educational courses state-wise and hence allowing the candidates to choose from the given options, most preferably in their own state. The educational programs are bundled into packages for various sectors including those of Government jobs, Banking, Computer & Technology, Designing, Management, Civil Services & for skill based jobs, etc. EduGorilla test series and other kits are available for purchase on Amazon and Snapdeal.
