Artificial intelligence startup Arya.ai claims to have created what could be the first system prototype within medicine and security, while exploring research solutions using drones within defence domains in India."80% of the world's data is unstructured, we ideally want to create artificial intelligence assistants within every profession, by giving developers the option to do so," says Vinay Sankarapu, IIT alumnus and founder of Arya.ai, the startup that got noticed after being se lected for VentureNursery's incubator and accelerator programme "After making the machine proto type study 50 medical books in 30 minutes, we tested the machine out by giving it an AIIMS exam paper, it completed the paper in 2.3 seconds and gave a score of around 124 out of 200, you can officially be come a pathologist if you score over 120," says Sankarapu, about creating the first medicine AI prototype.Arya has now evolved the system to create a diagnostic assistant to radiologists, which has learned over 650-million words. Security is the second domain within which it has created a prototype that can be used by bank ATMS. It functions by using a chip that is embedded into the security camera, which is connected to the Internet and has access to a cloud server.Action sensors alert a security manager about a potential mishap."We are in talks with two international and one Indian bank to form a partnership," said Sankarapu. The startup is in talks with government officials and is looking to create a prototype using drones to identify between civilians at a market and a terrorist group.
