THE DEEEEEEEEP POCKETS OF THE STAR WARS’ CAST

The Force has indeed been on the side of the “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” cast because… look at the dibs that they have made… not to mention the collection that the sequel has made worldwide!! Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the seventh episode in the series and it was released on the 18th of December in the United States and on Christmas in India. The sequel had earned much anticipation since its shoot had begun and the release of the trailer had made minds of the fans go haywire. Do I have to say about the way the movie was welcomed worldwide, on the date of its release?

The movie had earned upto six times the collection that Bahubali had grossed, in just *brace yourselves* TWO days after its release and is still making more and more riches now. But blame it on the storyline, the actors and the huuuuuge fandom that the series had earned all these years. The sequel had indeed grossed a huge amount and not only that, the cast of the movie has also made enormous lumps of money! *Touchwood*

The lead of the film, Harrison Ford, has made the most out of it, by earning a paycheck in the range of $10 million- $20 million (Pheww!)… The momentousness of his role had earned him the amount! (It DOES pay to be Han Solo, right?!) And there is another reason as to why he had pocketed such an amount but I won’t reveal it and be a spoiler! While the other leads Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill have earned an amount in the lower seven figure range (due to their reduced screen presence), Baddies Oscar Isaac and Adam Driverhave pocketed their pay for an amount in the higher six figure range. Rookies Daisy Ridley and John Boyega have reportedly bagged an amount in the lower six figure range.

And to add on to this, the cast is said to receive a bonus as soon as the overall grossing of the film reaches the $1Billion threshold! Let’s stop going wide eyed and wish the cast a good luck for their movie to earn more or should we be more like, “MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU”?!
