Ericsson to raise hiring margins to reinforce teams

The No. 1 network vendor of the world is going to intensify its recruitment activity as it plans to strengthen its teams to divert more business towards India.
The focus of the Ericsson India will be on cloud and IP, Business support systems functions (BSS), Operations support systems, TV & Media and smart city projects.
Vice President of the company’s HR department , Sameer Khanna said, “Ericsson India is looking at hiring over 100 resources (read: managers across levels) in the first quarter of calendar 2016 to strengthen the organisation, especially in the new and targeted business areas.”
The company is planning to channelize the internal resources of the company and will scale its hiring numbers in the coming year. however, the details aren’t out.
Head of Ericsson India, Paolo Colella said, “As business grows, the company will re-deploy existing talent into the new areas as well as add new talent for which we will hire based on the new competence framework.”
Ericsson India’s employees amount to an excess of 21,000 including those working in its R&D facilities and other global services.
This upcoming recruitment is in pace with the company’s effort to make its teams more competitive globally and to transform itself into information and communications solutions provider rather than just being pure networks infrastructure provider.
